Since 1972, Title IX of the Education Amendments has proven to be an increasingly powerful leveling tool, helping to advance gender equity in schools and colleges. Specifically, Title IX prohibits sex-based discrimination in any education program or activity that receives federal funding.

The Bookstore is now accepting faculty and staff cap and gown orders. Submit requests to the campus location where you will pick up your cap and gown. The deadline to submit orders is Monday, May 1.
Faculty and staff now have the ability to book their own conference rooms online. When scheduling a meeting in Outlook, you can select a conference room in the “location” drop-down menu and the system will indicate whether the room is available.
A poetry reading will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 9, in the Atrium at the Liston Campus in Providence.
CCRI’s annual “All College Week” will be extended this year into “All College Month,” coinciding with National Community College Awareness Month as observed by the American Association of Community Colleges.
