In her comments at the Convocation, President Hughes stated that the college will be renewing its focus on safety and security this academic year. College Police will be leading this effort that will feature communication and training of students, staff and faculty.

The CCRI Writing Center offers free services and workshops to CCRI students, faculty and staff members. This includes help with prewriting, organizing, creating thesis statements and topic sentences, writing summaries, editing and more.
Our annual CCRI Opening Day Convocation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 31, at the Knight Campus in Warwick. A continental breakfast will be served in the Great Hall from 8 to 8:45 a.m.
Faculty and staff members are sought to volunteer at the greeter desks at each campus from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 5 to 7.
